When most people think of hiring help around the house, they usually think of two options: a house cleaner or a licensed pro like a handyman. But what about everything in between? What about the day-to-day stuff that’s not hard enough to call a contractor, but not quite something you can—or want to—handle yourself?

That’s where I come in.

I started Help With My Tech to offer in-home tech support for seniors, but pretty quickly, something else became obvious: tech isn’t the only thing people need help with. My own mom is a senior. I help her all the time—small stuff, normal stuff, the kind of things that used to be easy but now take a little extra effort (or leave her needing a nap afterward). I do it because I love her, and honestly, it just made sense to do the same for others who might need it too.

Let’s be real: aging isn’t what it used to be. Most seniors today are independent, sharp, and living in their own homes. But that doesn’t mean everything’s easy. Sometimes it’s the tiniest things that make the biggest difference—like getting help changing a light bulb or organizing a cluttered pantry. If your knees hurt, or you don’t feel steady on a step stool, that light bulb might stay burned out for weeks. That’s where I come in—not as a cleaner or a handyman, but as someone who simply shows up and helps.

What I offer isn’t about deep cleaning or plumbing repairs. I’m not crawling under sinks or scrubbing baseboards. But if you need someone to take out the trash, fold laundry, pick up a few things from the grocery store, or help sort out that pile of mail that keeps growing on the kitchen counter—I’ve got you.

Need help calling customer service to get your internet bill fixed? I’ve done that. Want someone to help organize your closet or go birthday shopping for your grandkid? Done. Need to fill out a form but you’re not sure how? We’ll do it together.

This work is personal to me, and if you’re reading this wondering if you should reach out, I get it. You don’t know me like I know me. I understand the hesitation. Honestly? I’m a little hesitant, too. It’s vulnerable—on both sides. But what I can promise is that I come with good intentions, a practical mindset, and a lot of experience helping people just like you or someone you love.

This service is built for seniors in Mesa who want to stay independent, but wouldn’t mind a little support now and then. You don’t need to be tech-savvy. You don’t need to have a long list of tasks. You just need to be open to letting someone help.

If that sounds like something you’re ready for, I’d love to be that helping hand.

Call or text 480-331-9551. I serve Mesa and surrounding areas. You don’t have to figure everything out alone.
