We’re honestly super excited about the people we’ve been able to help so far in Mesa, especially in assisted living facilities. When we first started Help With My Tech, we hoped we could be useful. But we didn’t expect how quickly this would turn into something we genuinely love doing.
A lot of our calls are simple, everyday tech problems that can feel huge when you’re the one dealing with them. Things like getting Wi-Fi working again, setting up a new printer, fixing an iPad that won’t charge, or helping someone learn how to use their iPhone without it turning into a two-hour battle. And what makes it even better is seeing the relief on someone’s face when the problem is gone and they feel confident again. That’s the good stuff.
We’ve also really enjoyed helping residents connect with family. Sometimes the “tech problem” is really just, “I miss my grandkids and I want to see their faces.” Getting FaceTime working, fixing audio, setting up photos, or helping someone remember passwords can make a big difference. It’s not just about devices. It’s about staying connected.
When this business first started, we had a funny dream. We pictured rolling up in a Tesla Cybertruck with our logo on the side, looking like some kind of futuristic tech rescue squad. Are we there yet? Not quite. But the vision still makes us laugh, and who knows, maybe one day it happens. For now, we’re thinking smaller and more realistic, like inexpensive promo products.
And this is where we want your input.
If you live in Mesa, have family in assisted living, or work in a facility, what would you actually find useful? Not junk that gets tossed in a drawer. Real stuff. Maybe magnets with our number, simple tip cards, screen cleaning cloths, or something we haven’t thought of yet. We’d love to hear ideas that would genuinely help residents, staff, and families.
If we’ve helped you or someone you know, thank you for trusting us. We’re grateful, and we’re just getting started.
